Once upon a time long ago (in the late 90's) Forest Oaks was that new and unique neighborhood being built on the east side of US 183 Highway. It seemed like there was nothing over there except bobcats and coyotes. These days, Forest Oaks and Silver Oak are at the center of Cedar Park's new growth and development and this central location is wonderfully convenient. There are two highly rated elementary schools within the neighborhood, and middle and high schools are nearby. Shopping at 1890 Ranch is four minutes away, as well as HEB and Home Depot. Forest Oaks has two pools and a nice clubhouse area and is managed very well by a top-notch homeowners association.
